Yes, I know I've been a GuitarNut for a long time but recently (in another forum), someone said that in the middle position, all DPDT on/on/on switches would have termnals connected based on Diagram A. I always thought that they could be wired in either configuration. (After all, the Fender 5 way switch has terminal connections that depend upon the manufacturer). So, are all the DPDT on/on/on switches manufactured according to Diagram A?

Mostly all. Never say never. A is a bottom view BTW. There is (at least) one manufacturer that is backwards on the 4P3T. They are ok on the DP3T www.e-switch.com/pdf/100.pdfThe rule is "get yer meter out and check things before you wire things up". If you don't have a meter, don't wire. Prior Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
