I hope you enjoy my mixed meaning metaphoric message title. I know that things can get pretty clogged up pretty quickly - just ask kylehead's plumber, but I also know that things can become hidden if we don't bring them to the front occasionally ... For example, I wonder if this should not also be pasted in here and in here? I am sure there are other examples, but I'll leave it at that - for Admin's consideration. D2o

D2o-
Yes, I'll consider that. But before I/we do anything more along these lines, I have been asked to consider whether my post there may not be too technical, as well as too long-winded. IOW, do we run the risk of scaring newcomers off with all those links to follow?
The goal is to have everyone on the same page when it comes to answering newcomer's questions, so we don't have to continually repeat ourselves on similar topics.
My post is not the last word on how we can accomplish this goal, so all options are on the table, and all suggestions are welcome. Ultimately, the question is how we can set things up so we have a standard answer, or link, for standard questions, without miring new folks in reams of technical stuff that may not be pertinent to what they ask.
So, before I repost that elsewhere, let's consider further how this should be approached.
