www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Components:_Switches_and_knobs/Megaswitches/Megaswitch_E-Model.html Using the two humbucker wiring provided by the makers, would this sound good? I know I've heard that having 4 coils on at the same time sounds bad, so i was wondering if using the outside coils would sound good. I was looking for a way to wire it up so I could have 1: Bridge 2: Bridge's Inner Coil 3: Both Inner Coils 4: Neck's Inner Coil 5: Neck and I came across this. Does the difference of inner vs outer really matter?

At the neck, it probably won't be a noticeable difference which coil is selected. At the bridge, there may be a slight difference. The same diagram can be used to select the inside vs. outside coils, it's just a matter of transposing the wires appropriately so as to get the other coil. The wire colors depend on the pickups in question. There is some more discussion of the Schaller Megaswitch E in connection with ChrisK's "S-None Switch", which used said switch in its first iteration.
