CL- I don't know what you did to your photos, but only the last one is showing up in your post.
EDIT: See below for CL's repaired post, as he deleted the first attempt.

Ok, so I hurt my knee at work on the 13th and been home since. The honey dos I could do have been done. I start frankenstein'n a strat. I start with this Notice the gnarly factory patch I had sprayed a few primer coat and sanded to 320 and finished with 0000 steel wool....SMOOTH I find 2 single coils and 2 humbuckers. GREAT! 1single and 1 humbucker work. great! I have 1 mini toggle still in the platic and decide: 1 single with kill switch, humbucker 1 volume. I proceed to fry the mini toggle! I left it in to see what friends think it does. What i ended up with is a single coil in the neck and hum in the bridge 2 volume and 1 shared tone ala P bass. The sc is suprising quiet . I know Cyn1 will ask, it sounds like sexylavagravy, the humbucker is tight and mean.

What pups are in it?
I totally dig the finish. I liked that ugly "gnarly factory patch", but it looks good with or without it.
The rotting white pickguard is beautiful. Blends in with the finish very well.
I'm a little concerned as to why you have a mile of intonation adjustment screw above the saddle. Don't like palm-muting?
Overall, I envy your ability to hack into a guitar to make it ugly/beautiful. I would attack my Godin, but I have a little "first guitar nostalgia".

I think the humbucker is from an Epi SG, the single is stock MIM strat. I was shocked how quiet it is, but it screams. I like lower action, but was considering setting this on up for slide, esp. with the buttery tone from the neck sc.
If you want to Frank one out try on something cheap, pawn shop , local online want ads, or mom and pop stores. These were just left over parts or aquired over the course of the last year or so. Nothing is new, the tuners are really bad but it wails.

Cool guitar, Craig. I second ijws' sentiments about the ability to sort of muck things up into something kinda special. So, was "sexylavagravy" written before or after the meds? D2o

So you're saying I should buy a cheap guitar at a pawn shop, go Pete Townshend on it IN the pawn shop, then glue the bits back together? I bet if I stained the bits BEFORE gluing them, I could git a cool finish. I WILL DO IT! And for all you sado-guitarists....

Watch yourself, pawnshop owners tend to be well armed. That'll keep you occupied in jail . . . .
