Just gave the ol' Bogen a facelift. When I first got this amp out of the gate, I got a few comments that it looked like a head on top of a cab rather than a combo. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but it's not what I was going for. So, being bored without a current project on tap, I visited the wonderful world of eBay and scored some Fender-style silver grille cloth. Just put it on this last weekend. I think it unifies the look of the front and echoes the metal mesh vent grilles up on top.  I'm still on the fence on whether to put a script logo back on. If I do it'll most likely be the "Continental" script that goes with the Lincoln badge. |
