Well, i guess you'd be limited by the depth of your guitar how many poles you can get, but dang, these have tons of throws!

And we have schemes that use those Grayhill sealed mil-spec rotaries:

Notice the size of the US quarter next to the switches for scale. You're probably not going to get one of the 12-pole versions into any solid-bodied guitar- but fortunately, these adapt to different configurations, and 4 poles is all you really need.

A bit on the pricey side, however . . .
