Well, i find that there are more switches in my little box than I have plans for in my current mod ;D So, I redrew Wolf's diagram from www.1728.com/guitar.htm just to make it easier for my mind. Wolf says that in this circuit, the coil cut only works on the Series position. Is it possible to have the coil cut switch work in either Series or Parallel? So that, essentially, the coil cut would override the S/P switch?

Yes, you can do that. The coil cut switch would be relocated "upstream" of the S/P switch, and would short one of the coils to ground.
Which one to short depends on which coil you want to remain active. I don't recall the wire colors for SD off the top of my head, but the switch would go on the black wire for one coil, or on whichever wire (white or red) that pairs with the green for the opposite coil.

Better be a bit careful there. Shorting a coil to ground, which then gets connected to hot in parallel mod will short the output.
On the diagram that jfp posted, in series mode, it cuts to the black/white coil. If the coil cut switch becomes a dpdt, and the second half of it is used to also break the connection to the red wire when single coil mode is engaged, then I think the sc switch will override the series/para switch, since only the black/white coil will be active
