why not try newey's rf wireless idea it'll be like the guitars a tv and the floor switch its remote and the pickups are your channels. Theoretically this could work using different frequencies for each pickup but i'm unsure of how to blend them for a series option as of yet but it can be done...

Gets the concept across very nicely, and as an added bonus, it avoids the obligatory car analogy. +1, well earned. sumgai

thank's for the karma love!!! i'm not sure of this one but i'll post it just in case. to get the series sounds, try wiring the 2 pickups together with another frequency. but i'm unsure about the possibility of sound contamination between the other frequencies but i've just gotta believe theres a way to overcome that were theres a will theres a way, as they say!!!

her's a way to contol your tone with a foot switch. you can either build it as a separate pedal effect or incorporate it into the pickup select pedal box and rig a volume pedal to take your cableor like me and newey said just go rf wireless

the cap values are, switch #1: pos,1 .001uf. pos,2 .018uf. pos,3 .020uf. pos,4 .022uf. pos,5 .039uf. pos,6 .047uf... switch #2: pos,1 .050uf. pos, 2 .061uf. pos, 3 .078uf. pos, 4 .086uf. pos, 5 .099uf. and pos, 6 .100uf. each switch has its own tone level and both are connected to a master volume. DISCLAIMER: the pot and cap values are subject to preference and can be what ever you desire! what is pictured is an escalated scale of tones and is just my preference so feel free to experiment

How do y'all like this? My axe currently has this switching scheme. Seems like I'd just have to switch the normal jack for a trs jack, add the 'footswitch disable' switch (for backwards compatibility with normal guitar cord) and, of course build the stomp box.
