Recorded some demo clips in responce to a request on an other forum. Sharing here for anyone that might want to hear what this impedance lowering device sounds like on bass. The difference between the L and Q-Filter is that the Q-filter adds a cap to block the effect on bass frequencies. I'm using the bass specific version of the filter (3.0Henry) and a 0.1uf cap as recomended by the manufacturer. So, without any further ado: Q-filter demo: www.box.net/shared/6040og9kmm0:00-0:38 Neck 0:38-1:15 Middle 1:15-1:52: Bridge I start with the dial at full and turn down each time the sequence is repeated until it's very near the bottom for a total of four times in each position. L-filter demo: www.box.net/shared/cbemb7n0k80:00-0:38 Neck 0:38-1:16 Middle 1:16-1:52 Bridge Same deal as above. Lastly, some more creative clips, trying to dial in the filter to cater specific techniques/styles: Neck pickup, Q-filter just before bottom of dial: www.box.net/shared/6xgpi72151Neck & bridge parallel, L-filter dialed down aprox. 80%: www.box.net/shared/74m3to3xvx
