Hi John,

No worries - but I like the idea of a simple booster circuit.
There is a 9v battery to power the sustainer amplifier but the pups are all passives.
I'd certainly be interested in a design if you are willing and have time to produce one.

Most it is about building x1 buffers into guitars and cables, but scroll down to where it discuses 'Gain stage' , with that diagram.

Thanks John - I'll try it with a trim pot on a another guitar first, to compare with rack overdrive.
