Hello Everyone, I am working on a HSH guitar with one volume, one tone, and a 5 way standard Strat switch. Without purchasing additional components, is there any way to wire the guitar so that all positions(instead of 4 outta 5) are hum cancelling? I find that I never use position 3 (single coil by itself).
Any options would be greatly appreciated.

1). You realize that HB + SC is just at least as noisy as an SC by itself. Are you "autosplitting" already.
2). Are you doing anything else with the second pole of the switch? Do you want the standard 2 tone controls?

I currently have it so that: 1 - Neck humbucker 2 - Single + split neck humbucker 3 - Single 4 - Single + split bridge humbucker 5 - Bridge humbucker
Id like to have the volume and tone work as-is. I may be SOL on this one, but was hoping I may have missed something. You guys have always been great when Im in a wiring jam. :-)

THe logical combo that you might want , in place of M only, is B+N either as full Hb pickups or each cut to a single coil and combined. Those kind of options are available if you get a superswitch, but I think not with a standard Strat switch.
