hi. newbie here. ive been wiring my guitars for a while but i cannot seem to wrap my head around this one. (i have limited time, funds, and clarity of thought... 3 kids) i have a les paul ive made and routed for pickups. ive chosen a 3 pup (bill lawrence humbucker- bridge, bill lawrence single coil-mid, and a bill lawrence humbucker-neck) both buckers are 4 wire splitable. i want to use a 5 way switch with strat positions. BUT... i have a tone pak from artec that has a qdd and an exp. these i want to use in place of tone pots. they are active, and require 2 batteries. the place i purchased them from wont help me at all. the reason i bought from them was because i was promised support and all/any wiring i needed. this was forgotten as soon as i purchased from them. i need help. anyone care to help out a newb? the guitar looks pretty cool, btw...
We'll be happy to help. But I (for one) don't know what you mean by:
a qdd and an exp. these i want to use in place of tone pots.
So unless someone else has more experience with these, we'll probably need more info about these things. Photos probably would help, especially if we're talking about something that's on a circuit board.
