Hey all, Im trying to work towards tabbing an unreleased kossoff song, 'Shes Gone' Unfortunately I have never really tabbed much before (only some simple chard progressions and a few licks, and I only have a very bad recording to work from Currently I have this for the verse E---------------------------------------- B-----------3----3----3/5 - 5----5-- G---------------------------------------- D--------2----2-----------------2----- A---------------------------------------- E--------------------------------------- Possibly with the Last (d fret 2) transposed to the A string to give it a deeper sound. However an ycomments would eb appreciated, I think im pretty close on it apart from that note. (sometimes the rhythm and the order of the notes gets fiddled around, however its not too big of a variation The chorus is some simple long chords, however through the low quality its hard to hear exactly which notes ( Im getting a d as the starting note, then its going down in some way , possibly using sharps and flats instead of the more obvious dbae) Thanks for any assistance, Yew

I think I have something workable for the chorus
|EE|EE|DD|AA| E The first two bars of e are an octave up (astring fret7) The last e is kinda of to turn it around into the verse (you will get it if you listen to the song)
(powerchords at position a5,e5 and e, possibly Minor barrechords with a fewer strings)
I dont think its perfect by anyway, and ive changed the verse to this
E---------------------------0----0----0--- B-----------3----3----3/5 - 5----5----5--- G-------------------------------------------- D--------2----2----------------------------- A-------------------------------------------- E--------------------------------------------
with some notes being missed off on some verses or more being put in. A bit like in all right now, where sometimes its Dada-Dada and sometimes its DaDa-Daaa or Daaa-DaDa on the D(ish) note of the main verse (Da being then noise the guitar makes, not the chords D and A)
BASS Looking at the bass, it seems it is simply a big E at the start of each bar for the verse, and the same as the guitar in the chorus later in the song the bass seems to go to something like
G-----------------------|------------------------ D-----------------------|---------------------- A-----------------------|------------7-------- E--5--7--5--7-----------|----5--7-----7---------------
With some of the notes (the D4 commonly) being missed off on some verses.

Lyrics
Best Be Gone Best be gone away from here Best be a long Best be a long way from here
Because Im feeling kinda down Girl you spin my head around
Best Be Gone Best be gone away from here Best be a long Best be a long way from here
Because Im feeling kinda down Girl you spin my head around
[here there in an empty verse, solo?]
It seems to me, you might like to know That after all these years, I got nothin to show And the memories, dont seem to pay my bills Gonna Turn around and find the fastest way outta here
Best Be Gone Best be gone away from here Best be a long Best be a long way from here
Because Im feeling kinda down Girl you spin my head around
It seems to me, you might like to know That after all these years, I got nothin to show And the memories, dont seem to pay my bills Gonna Turn around and find the fastest way outta here
Best be gone
Best be a long
Best be gone
Best be a long way from here
Bold Italics = Chorus Riff Normal font = Verse
