Very cool. I think Bill Lawrence designed the AmDlx J-Humbucker.

Congrats on getting the project into fruition looks and sounds great. Definitely find the screws, those bridge pickups sound awesome real close to the strings.

Well, you certainly have an aggressive sounding little bass there, young fella... If that was the style you were going after I'd say you nailed it.
Out of curiosity, what kind of bottom end can you pull out of that configuration? I ask this as I play flatwounds, no pick, and go out of my way not overdrive an amp...us old guys do that, you know...
+1 for a clean mod.
Now...where's the third pickup for the neck to give it some cahones...
Happy Trails

i can tell you the pbass pickup is THUNDEROUS... the clip was just the ADG strings, but the E (or D in my case) gives plenty of bass even picked my bassist was messing around on it yesterday doing little strums and and arpeggios and it sounded a lot warmer and sweeter, but when i pick up the bass i'm mainly playing punk-esque music so all but a nasally sound is lost on me it's definitely a fiddle that makes me want to jam on the bass more, since these days i'm almost always playing guitar
