I did the search thing, can't believe it says no results. I tried using the help link to make sure i was using the help thing right;, I do not understand the pro boards thing, I need a diagram for an A/B/Both switch. Anyone have one? Is there one on the site?

'nayer, I did the search thing, can't believe it says no results. That's because the ProBoards search "feature" isn't - it's a bug! We find that Google does the job perfectly, every time. The rest of us are also amazed at how stupid ProBoards can be at times. But we put up with it because A) it's free; and B) the up-time is something like 99.999999% of the time (two outages since it started in April of 2005). Seems a fair trade, eh? Actually, your problem stems from terminology. Properly, it's called an "A/B/Y" switch. Of course, ProBoards discards any punctuation marks, meaning the slashes, and that leaves single letters. Since ProBoards discards any search term less than four characters long (really!), you got bupkis. Fortunately for us, Google isn't that stupid. Just for you, here are a couple of threads that should point you in the right direction: A/B X/Y boxA/B/Y box w/ FaderABC box!You can ask any further questions either in those threads, or back here, it's all good! ;D HTH sumgai

My nephew brought up a layout of MICHAEL HOUSER of Widespread Panic guitar to amp diagram. He has a custom switch box here is the link: vintage.guitargeek.com/rigview/536/It states that this box switches between two Soldano SLO-100 Super Lead Overdrive Head, I just don't see how as the signal is piped from the guitar into the first SLO and the second receives it's input from a line out. I suppose some info is left out but that is probably wrong so could some one shad a little light. I want to build a switch box with effect loop which I can do just wanted someones input on the rig view. Thanks

Hi lizardling, welcome to GN2.
It looks like the '*custom switch box' just adds the eq and chorus to the signal after the DI box - ie, its an FX loop pedal. No problem, is that the type of thing you need? cheers John
