Folks,
A friend asked me to take a look at his Roland amp. He said it was a Roland Cube 60. It is a SUPER Cube 60. Never heard of a Super Cube 60 before.
Tried looking it up on the Roland site. All they have is the Cube 60, both guitar and bass guitar models. Nothing Super cube.
Also, looking at the ops manuals, the control panel layout is nothing at all like anything Roland has listed.
Looking for schematics, nothing comes up under the Super Cube 60 title. Was wondering if anyone has any info on this little guy.
Any help, as usual, is greatly appreciated!
Andy

Andys-
I don't know anything as far as technical stuff, or where to find a schematic.
But I do recall that, back in the '80s, before there was a Roland "Cube", there was a "Super Cube". I believe these were actually marketed as keyboard/bass amps, although many certainly were used for guitar as well.
A buddy back in the day had a "Super Cube 100", which, IIRC, had a single 15" speaker- pretty rare to have a 15" in the '80s, everyone was using multiple 10- or 12 inchers at that time.

I finally found a schematic. It doesn't say Super Cube, but it is 60 watts and matches up with the control layout, the PCB and wiring from what I've been able to follow.
Thanks for the links.

Its a good amp no matter the year. If it's superb cleans you're looking for, you found the amp. Or at least jazzy cleans.
