Congrats so far, great clour and finish...that's no small thing...did you use 'spray cans' or something? Teh PG is a nice compliment to it too, are you going to have to enlarge if for the middle HB?
Everything going to 'fit'?
I use almost all shielded wiring and get no noise by that and so tend not to have shileding if you want to preserve the cavity paint.
what is this 'logo'...I've not kept up!
well done, looking good and bodes well t be so well organised and methodical and taking your time...

Looking good with that green finish! +1!
As an aside, 4real's mystification about your reference to the logo arises, I think, because you edited out the diagram (with the logo) you had here after posting this originally. You should not edit things so substantially after posting, as it leaves these sorts of historical non sequiturs.
And, any edits you do make should be explicitly noted (usually in red to show the alterations).

Noted Newey & 4real. I had intentions on putting it back up the diagram. I realized I had updated it and it is the wrong one. I will just put it back up here until I can add the finalized diagram as I had to do some modification. I will be adding pics today or tomorrow with the Warmoth pick guard that one is a see through there with the blue protective film on it. Also the one in the picture is clear in color, I'm just using it to map out underneath for distance to see how much room I have to work with, drill holes in this one and then use it as a template to solder and stuff for my new Warmoth pick guard.

Yes, I am sure everything will fit. It's a swimming pool body( I'm prepared to dremmel the little wood on the left if need be, and thinking I will have to widdle a bit for the angled bridge HB. No biggy though). ( I took your advice and am planning things out and using a template as you suggested on my first idea of the HHH project. I also am taking your advice and using ribbon wire. I get a bunch of colors as I am trying to stick with my original wire plans on the drawing. Fushia colored as Newey called it before. ) There is still tape in the neck cavity & body, jack plate cavity. I have a layer of Poltergeist Yellow to add and then more clear coats. The water slide Design, More Clear coat. I have painted tons of bodies for people but never actually "WIRED" a guitar. I used spray cans. The are "Highly" pigmented photo luminant paint/ Low pressure cans for max coverage. They literally don't run, or drip. I have used this brand for years! The colors really pop, and cover in one coat, clean up is super easy as the paint falls as dust since it dries so fast. I will post picks when I peel off the cavity protection. I left the body''s original wood there and in the neck and output jack pocket. The neck had globs, and globs of clear coat in it from Guitar Fetish! It took me 3 days to just clean the neck pocket to bare wood with a stripper. And another week to sand off the old poly finish, paint and sealer to get to bare wood. The best thing about this paint is you don't have to prime. I just prime for a super smooth finish. And then Prime, sand, prime sand....

Will be adding it back untill I find the correct one. Well noted Newey, I see where it will cause major confusion. PS. Thanks for all of your help guys! I truly could not have got this far without the help and explanations of how it works!

New Warmoth Pick Guard. Just drilled mini toggle holes in it today. Pics were blurry. I am trying to find a better place to take pics for the future with a better camara. My work space is too high. Love the big pink warmoth sticker(LOL) Checking the fit for knobs and location for mini toggles, very tight fit. But works for me. Love the angled Bridge HB. Happy on making that decision (Took forever to make) I Moved some pots around to suit my taste. The Varitone like switch (1st near bridge pick-up), 1 meg tone pot 2nd hole, 3rd hole 500k volume close to output jack. I figured the mini toggle for series parallel is best for me by the closets knobs I will use least. Also I think it will keep my picking hand from accidently bumping them out of position. Not to much of a picker/volume spinning kinda guy.

Oh...well, that makes a little more sense and over view I'd not picked up. Very impressed by the paint and particularly the 'constructi8on work' which is something that is often lacking and harder to do than a bit of 'trick wiring' in my opinion. Will help me and many 'lift their game' and see things as an entire 'project' and not just a wiring exercise... Not sure I am going to personally 'like' the end result...yellow? etc...I thought perhap the blue gurad was the guard...doh! There's certainly a lot of 'stuff' being thrown at this guitar, dare I say excess LOL. Still, we've all done such projects in the past...next one you might show more 'restraint'...like this... Ah, those soviets...anything to one up the USA!

Ah, those soviets...anything to one up the USA! LOL - too funny 4real with that guitar. The Poltergeist Yellow really isn't yellow. I have no idea where the company comes up with it's colors (Bourdeaux Red to them is called Ketchup - really) Puzzled me actually. The Poltergeist yellow over the acid green is just a tinting like color (Transparent Super Light Green). Really does go well with it as this is a highly bright color. I decided to go with the logo on just the neck plate. Yes, my next will just be a 5 way Blade HSH project. Actually I am working on that one along side this one. ;D Keep coming back to check my progress!

re LOGO... On my strat I ahve a jeff beck portrait as a tribute on the neck plate..a little hard to see... It's laser cut but quite subtle and effective. There are places that can do this about, see them at shopping malls...wehn i lived anywhere near a shopping mall...but there are probably 'sercies' out there that could burn such a thing in. Or' have it engraved, perhaps with someone with a CNC machine and perhaps 'back fill' the engraving with your green paint...that would be cool! I am impressed by your work and planning. I've spent the arvo at teh annual hot rod show and I take quite a bit of inspiration by the way most approach their car projects, the attention to all these 'details' is frequently 'stunning'...

Thanks 4real! Too funny... I am a CNC Machinist (Precision Machinist). I could ask the girl who works in Laser Engraving who does our customers serial numbers to do it as she engraves our names in our personal tools also to do it. Just don't want anyone to lose a job over something like that... I have a guy that does excellent work. He has done a few for me in the past for my customers who want my logo when I paint their guitars. I have been painting guitar bodies since 1983 believe it or not (LOL). Man do I love your guitar! What is that link again in the gallery? Love the natural wood. You did a heck of a job with that one my friend! Definatly an inspiration. My Long time Neck plate: The one I will have made for this one, Did it on photoshop:

The strat is in the gallery... guitarnuts2.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=music&action=display&thread=5413Where you'll find a variety of fine member's guitars. Doing a good finish (and your occupation betrays how you were able to cut that PG so well ) is a difficult thing, many do the clear finish or 'oil' as it tends to be easier. As you know, the secret is very much in the preparation and in some exerience and it shows...my hat off to you there and, I couldn't or would ahve a lot of difficulty doing something as good. My blue telecaster was painted by a car sprayer and MY LP came like that. I've done a few things, but I don't have the facilities to do much and that is generally something that takes a lot of work to do well, but it is obviously possibe if you know what you are doing! I ahve done a few things 'crafty' though over the years and you can develop all kinds of ways of dioing things. Taking inspiration from other 'customizers' with enthusiasim is a good thing and I just went yesterday to the annual national hot rod custom car show here on the island and it is quite inspiring to see what people create in such things. For one thing the enthusiasim for 'functional art' and the attention to unique detail is stunning, that amount of work and care into every little thing is quite something. I was photographing quite a few things and saw a couple that you might enjoy but still going through the pics and editing them in size (are other's intersted in cars for the coffee shop?). But it need not be the car thing, the arts and crafts all have tings that can inspire. It's not so much to make a guitar look like or an analogy to a car say, but to do some equivilent kind of things or aspirations for the project you are working on perhaps. I'd encourage people to aim to do 'complete projects' you know, work out far more detail and features that all work together than the more basic 'mods'. It takes more than 'wiring' to make for a good guitar but none of these things are really nthat hard in of themselves. Even better a lot of playing helps to get an idea of what one really wants and uses a guitar for. Anyway, enjoyingthe work and will end up looking stunning I'm sure...

Dang I love that guitar! Natural wood is the best over paint any day! Another good looking one is John H's.
