Neck : Dimarzio Pro Track vs Air Norton S vs The Chopper

Hello, this is for my Aria Strat as demoed here : guitarnuts2.proboards.com/thread/7002/guitars-demo

Currently it has :
Bridge : Dimarzio Fast Track 2
Neck : Dimarzio Fast Track 1
Middle : Aria SC original

I am looking to move the Fast Track 1 to the middle (where it naturally belongs to) and put a better balancing pup to the neck. Already the neck sounds a little bit dark. This is a dark sounding strat, generally speaking. Currently i like the sounds, although a little bit unbalanced. FT-1 is twice the output of the middle SC and FT-2 three times the output of this. I have read that the chopper is mostly closer to FT-1 in terms of EQ. Pro Track is fatter, but still has some sparkle to it, while Air Norton S is the most dark and nasal of the 3, although fuller.

I would go for the chopper to retain the current overall idea.

What's your take?

No experience with any of those pups, so I didn't vote. That's the problem with a poll like this- your audience is pretty limited.

all I know is that FT2 is a killer pup. At least on par with EMG-81 power-wise, as well as sound. Both pups create nice tones. Now the FT1 lacks in comparison to EMG-60 in the neck, that's why it is going in the middle position, replaced in neck by the new "Chopper".
