Earl Slick Guitars: www.guitarfetish.com/Slick-Guitars_c_496.htmlWhile I don't care for relic-ing at all, these are more "barely finished", ready to mod thingies. Three piece ash body, Kind of unique hardware (recessed wraparound intonate-able bridge), rear Tele sized control route, graphite nut, and something new (and stupid) from GFS; physically, electrically, and magnetically pre-aged pickups (from the Slick line). All this would seem pretty much a joke, until you see the price... $189~$219 USD. Just about everyone who offers relic'd anything is charging a ridiculous premium for said aging. While the typical GFS spin copy fills the descriptions, they might actually have something here... Mainly, proving most every other guitar builder that is pre-aging their crap is ripping consumers off. If these are halfway decent, and sell at all, I would imagine a "new" version would eventually follow with a simple non-distressed finish.

I'd go for one of the SL60's in black ash, but they still don't make lefties.
