Hi, I have a Vigier Excalibur Special which comes with a custom electronic setup, using a super switch.
1 Humbucker in neck position
2 Single-coil in neck & middle position
3 Single-coil in neck & bridge position
4 Single-coil in bridge & middle position
5 Humbucker in bridge position
I would like to install a push-push tone switch and get single-coil on neck (pos.1) and bridge (pos 5). I have contacted a local technician , who, with my disappointment, removed the super switch, installed a different one and copied a slightly different setup from the Di Marzio website. Now I get the single coils as I wanted but in position 3 (both with switch on or off) I get the middle pickup which has a very thin sound. I am completely new to wiring but I thought that if I found a wiring schematics to get what I want, I can tell him how to put it right. Hope it makes sense and thanks in advance!

Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!
Did your tech give you the Superswitch back? And what did he replace it with?
A superswitch will be needed to get the N + B combo you want at position 3. Not sure whether what you want can be done easily or not, but we'll need to know the switch that will be used before we can look at how best to do this.

Thanks Newey, yes, I still have the stock switch. I am at work now so I cannot check but I am 90% sure that it is a Schaller Megaswitch E. I will confirm later today.
