Hey guys, I'm looking for a dpdt (no center) that has a light touch, like a Tele switch does. I've got a couple dpdt's in my box, but i need something I can throw with my pinkie. Or else, I have to really beef up my pinkie. This is going to be my master switch, between the 5-way and Bridge Blower. The goal is to go from rhythm (any position on the 5-way) to lead (bridge only) and back. I can go from N+M to bridge, easily enough, but getting out of a lead and into N+M is a b h. Plus, I want the Bridge Blower, no tone pot. I have the wiring scheme down, no problem there. Just, the switches I am able to find are really stiff.

On a couple of my builds, Ive been using instead of a dpdt 'mini-toggle', a dpdt 'sub-miniature'toggle. Its just a bit smaller and neater, plus lighter to flick. It mounts in a 5.5mm hole instead of a 6.5mm. They fit quite nicely into the Strat knob-scape. I get them from www.jaycar.com.au catalogue no ST0310. (I cant seem to make a direct link). Thats just to show you what I mean, but Im sure Mouser etc would have them

Would not an S1 switch also do the job with a light touch and no extra holes?

I dont mind extra holes. I'm going for speed of switching. I guess i didnt really consider the mini switches... smaller target, but also, less chance of an accidental switch, too. I'll have to give that a shot.
