Hello everyone... I must say, I'm a newbie in electronics and amp mods... But I have from a friend a really cheap 10w amp with only an on/off drive button. Do you know if it's possible to replace it with a potentiometer? Sometimes I wanna make noise but not too much...

zantrop,
Welcome to The NutzHouse!
Most of the time, the simple on/off switch is there because of a cost versus profit decision by the manufacturer. In quite a few cases, it can indeed be modded to use a pot. We'll need to know the exact make, model and year of the amp you got from your friend, in order to help you any further. If you can only get close (perhaps the year it was made is unknown), then a picture might also help us.
Punt! the ball is in your court.
