If they're wired that way then I don't see why they wouldn't - but hey, that's just my opinion based on what I've learned since I raised this in the first place. To answer your question we need to hear this from someone who has such a guitar.

Hi again, I resolved the problem about completely by using my DIY guitar cable, which is of abnormal quality... after I swapped pickups, I had been testing the guitar with a fairly high quality jack-jack cable, and it was only until yesterday that I compared that 2m cable to my 10m guitar cable -- I was stunned at the difference. The hum is really drastically diminished and is now not a problem anymore. For anyone interested, the cable I used was the Cordial CGK 122 (http://www.thomann.de/thoiw7_cordial_cgk_122_sw_prodinfo.html), with NEUTRIK NP2 RCS plugs (http://www.thomann.de/thoiw7_neutrik_np_2rcs_prodinfo.html) Good luck solving your hum problems
