I like working with the Cheaper S-Type/T-Type 5/3 way switch change the PCB board and such but i wounder going a step BE-YOND!! >SPACE< for this i would need to change the Nylon (i think it is) Rotation point (do think the ball to locate the positions may need changing in time but FIRST step 6 Positions, ie take the 3 Position (T-Type, and Half it) HOPE (As a normal S/T-Type switch are the SAME just different sides of the Rotation Nylon block) that can make the other side 10 Positions then (That i think will need a new ball) At the moment the PCB is 90' one side and 90' the other, I also think that could use this and use the SPACE between the two sides and maybe make it (MUSIC PLEASE) 4 Poles!! sadly the hard part for me is the ARM bits that Hook the Tracks up looks like 45' link CAN make the PCB (just need to Design the SIX position with Neck+Bridge i think) and then Move on to 10 positions if can THEN THE WORLD >Q Evil Laugh<

If you get into experimenting with modding the switches, keep us apprised of your work, sounds interesting.
I seem to recall EYB or maybe Schaller made a double Superswitch with 8 poles, but still it only had 5 positions. There is now also the 6-position Oak Grigsby Switch that I detailed here a while back.

Bunny and Newey, EYB supposedly has a new M type switch with 2 wafers and 2 rotors. Given the EYB-M has 24 terminals, I guess one can assume the double stacked would have 48. I’ve emailed a question to them to see where one can get their hands on one. I’ll let you know.

Fellas, EYB got back to me about their enhanced “double stacked, dual rotor” switch. Apparently, the enhanced EYB switch has existed for some time and just is casually mentioned on their website. Perhaps a member of the forum might have tried it out. I did order one. It costs $40. Here is the response I received when I inquired about its design , similarity to the 10 position Freeway; and, it’s unique capabilities. Response from EYB: “The 8-pole switch is like a double Superswitch. It can do almost everything you want. It is about the same size as the Superswitch while offering twice as many wiring options. The Freewayswitch is that you have 10 sounds (sic) but who really needs that many? Furthermore it tends to make switching noise. I have offered this option for a long time but never really advertised it. Since I am the "tech department" all inquiries will be answered asap. I am the inventor of this switch and I know everything about it.”
So, I will post pics of it when I receive it, and will work with the gentleman from EYB regarding its capabilities. I also have a member of the forum who may agree to help me out with its full array of capabilities.

not sure how i would make any thing like that (for now i say just pinch from the old S/T-Type switch along with its ARM and BODY) I feel like a body snatcher now i would guess its dont on 90 degrees, so just need to split the two bumps in to a three looking at the other side maybe a lot more complex to split them in 10... maybe 7 or 8 Other problem looks like its a INJECTION mold system. Because i also need a means to do the ARMS that drag along the tracks, its a indent with a little Catch to hold it in place in theory could do 4 of these to make it a 4 Pole, if i could figure away to make this cog just right
