Hi all. Been searching around and tried to make one my self, but struggling to get a schematic that looks like it will work for the following configuration - Bridge Humbucker
- Middle p90
- Neck p90 (of course both can be single coil in a diagram)
- 5 way switch
- Bridge, Auto Tapped Bridge + Middle (hum-cancelling), Middle, Middle + Neck, Neck
- 2 Volumes - Neck + Middle, Bridge
- Master Tone
- Switch to bring neck pickup in at any time.
Has anyone here done this at all?
Thanks

daverage- Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!First, your 5-way switch wiring, with the auto-split HB at position 2, is what Fender does on their HSS Strats- AFAIK, on all of the models. So any Fender HSS diagram should serve as a suitable starting point. Next, yes, we have a diagram for a 2-volume Strat, from our resident guru JohnH: guitarnuts2.proboards.com/thread/3157/strat-volume-controls-sss-hssUnfortunately, the old diagrams in that thread have disappeared, but there is a work-around that John describes in his signature, by cutting/pasting into the browser. It is also possible that JohnH or others can repost the diagrams back into his original thread, we've been doing so on a case-by-case basis to resurrect things. So if the work-around doesn't work for you, sit tight. There is a HSS version also, but I can't see whether it incorporates the auto-split or not, although I suspect it does so. The key feature of JohnH's scheme is that the master tone control, in order to "play nice" with the two volumes, uses a dual-gang pot (NOT a concentric pot, it's just 2 pot elements on one shaft). Adding the "neck on" switch to this type of scheme is fairly straightforward, it could be done with a push/pull pot on one of the volume controls or via a separate toggle switch, your choice. I can draw that up as a separate module for you, it doesn't need to be a complete diagram, you can just insert it into JohnH's scheme between the neck pickup and the 5-way switch.

Here is a module for the "neck-on switch". I showed it as if one was using a push/pull pot, hence a DPDT switch, but if a toggle switch is used instead, then a single-pole switch would suffice, since only one-half of the DPDT is being used. If it's a P/P and if you imagine the knob/pt (not shown) being toward the top of the diagram, then pulling up is the neck-on setting, and pushed down is the std. 5-way setting, which is presumably the way one would want it. If a toggle is used, then orientation depends on which way you mount the switch in the hole, naturally. No matter which diagram you choose to use as a starting point, this can be inserted right into that diagram, again, as the first thing after the neck pickup, before the 5-way switch.
