Please do not get me wrong or discouraging, but I truly recommend to star with a simple circuit. Make it work first ad enjoy it for a while. If you try to wire that complete circuit it can be very frustrating and you will probably damage the components with the solder iron before accomplish the final result. If you wanna to go for that simple version I'm proposing, I can draw it for you in the easy mode (visual representation of the wires). Regards! That would be amazing, so kill switch first, then the kill switch reverse. Then Parallel/series momentary - yes? Cheers, Ben

That would be amazing, so kill switch first, then the kill switch reverse. Then Parallel/series momentary - yes? Not exactly. To reverse the Kill button you will need another switch. I'm trying to avoid then cause one DPDT switch is enough to get you a good headache. I'm proposing 4 controls: 1- Main standard 3-way switch (standard) 2- Kill switch (simple button) 3- Series override (DPDT) - It puts the 2 pickups in series independent of the main switch. It can be a toggle or a DPDT momentary button (there is no difference but if you choice the button you will have to use the multimeter to figure out the correct connectors). 4- Main volume (controls all the circuit) Another option using only one DPDT is to make the series circuit override the volume too, so if the volume is all way down the series override will act like a play button. 1- Main standard 3-way switch (standard) 2- Kill switch (simple button) 3- Series momentary overrides all circuit (DPDT momentary button). Double as a play button if the volume is down. 4- Main volume (control the standard circuit but will have no effect when the series override is ON) If it is enough to you, give us the pickup leads colors, so we can draw using that colors too and make it easy to understand.

rogerioprazeresWith help from the forum previously, I wired a two pickup Strat with series/parallel and out-of-phase switches so am super keen on the reversible kill switch. I realise that means understanding why the 4PDT switch which has 12 lugs but the schematic has 8. However, I've found that the centre lugs create continuity with the outside lugs so assume that in order to wire the schematic, I don't use one set of the outside lugs - does this sound right? Any help would be great.

Hi There, I now see this thread is too large/ambitious to get help so please ignore. Have broken it up into smaller threads here and here. Cheers
