So I am a Brian May fan and I found it really interesting on how he got his tones but I am not completely trying to copy it. I am more of a marshall guy. Well lemme tell you the story of my strat, it was a 2018 player sapphire blue with dimarzio silent singe coils(guitar was used and came with them) Then I got the brian may wiring kit from guitarfetish.com which with the on-on switches like brians. It took the local shop 2 weeks to do and there was still some grounding issues. I then bought trisonics due to there metallic chimy sound. The local shop took a month and a half to finish the project bc the the pickups did not sit properly so they had to make wood blocks so the pickups would sit permanently on them. Might I add before getting the trisonics i tried to shield the guitar myself. After they got the guitar done it still had a horrible ground issue. If I slap touched the knob it would buzz super loud, I would have to slap(yes I mean slap) the knob so that it would stop. Also if I touched any metal on the guitar it would get louder.
I then took it to guitar center and the guy got it done in 3 days. Now I still face the issue of the knob sometimes being at max volume even tho the volume knob is all the way down. If I fiddle with it, it will stay at zero and will go to max volume normally. Sometimes if i touch the screws that keeps the on-on switches or the screws/body of the pickups, it will buzz louder. Keep in mind also the blocks of wood they local shop places haven't been shielded either. I also shielded the output jack cavity. Another issue sometimes is that if I dont touch the guitar this harsh shrill hum will occur. It isnt feedback bc I am using computer software and not a real amp.
My question is what shielding/any electronics work must be done to get rid of this? Is it okay if i put shielding on the wood blocks where the pickups would sit(the pickups have an all metal cover)? Do I need to give up on the on/off and in/out of phase switching?
All help and advice is appreciated.

That happens a lot when you have copious shielding in the cavity, especially a Strat, where you smash all the wiring down onto the body of the guitar. Especially evil are those braided cables where the outside of the wire is a grounded mesh, as it will shunt ant bare wire it touches to ground. I think your issues might have come about from over complicating the shielding. Look for any place where grounded metal is potentially coming into contact with the circuit wiring. Also I don't think the wood blocks are necessary, you can accomplish the same thing with some electrical tap on the underside of the pick guard.
