Found a better alternative to circuitlab: easyeda.com.
Almost unlimited possibilites, and it is free. You could create, save and share schematics there, add new elements, layout PCBs from the schematics created and they even have auto router.
This is pretty useful for stompbox builders / circuit designers, but why not to create a guitar wiring diagram there.

Thanks Jaga, great find! Too bad we don't still have Karma points, 'cause you sure earned one this time. Folks, visiting this site is gonna take some time, there are currently 177 projects posted, ranging from dirt simple to frets-frightening complexity. sumgai

Too bad we don't still have Karma points, 'cause you sure earned one this time Uhhh... you could click the like button on his post. 😉 Nope, doesn't work that way. We've had this discussion before - a Like works to recognize a Post, whereas the Karma points were meant to recognize a Member, regardless of what he or she might have posted. Here, I appreciate what Jaga did for the community, not necessarily the post content itself. (Although in this particular case, the two are co-mingled, that's true.) As a further example, let's take Humor. Joke threads have been started, and petered out, sorry to say. Individually, someone may post a funny joke, but giving them a Like only means that another member found the joke to be funny. Giving the poster a Karma point would've meant that they contributed to the overall stimmung of the community, not just cracked a funny. To me, that's a difference worth noting. IOW, IMNSHO, ProBoards dropped the ball on this one. sumgai

We've had this discussion before Yes we have! Karma was horrible in that whenever someone posted something valuable it required a bunch of cluttering and annoying +1 posts to indicate WHY the member was being exalted. Also, Karma had the inherent negative side available. A member had the opportunity to take away Karma points from others. And there was a limit to how many Karma actions a member could take within a specified period of time. See two great posts while you're online? You can exalt one but you'd have to wait an hour to exalt the other guy. What a steaming pile that was! IOW, IMNSHO, ProBoards dropped the ball on this one. You're entitled to your opinion, as misinformed as it might be. The only place where ProBoards dropped the ball is that like tallies weren't inherently shown in the members' mini-profiles. But I fixed that, long ago! Like rules. Karma drools. Just click the like button on Jaga's OP and add to his like tally as well as acknowledging the value of his post, you crusty old dinosaur!

Crusty? Check. Old? Check. Dinosaur? Hey, wait a minute.... I don't got no tendency to battle, and then eat, other creatures. Especially not when they're still wet behind the ears, and think that just because something works, that it needs to be replaced with something that doesn't - that's "code-monkeyism",* which should be stamped out, with great vigor! HTH! sumgai * Code-monkeyism is my term for about 95% of all so-called developers out there who spend more time on 'job justification' than on learning why to write code. Notice that I didn't say "how to write code", but why to write it. Stated short-and-sweet, if there's no problem, then spend your time on finding actual problems to solve, don't just stand there with a silly grin your face and say "hey, look what I can do", and then think to yourself "now where can I find someone to bamboozle into buying this from me". That's just plain evil, and you should be made to learn, and use only, assembly language. (And that's going easy on you. I could've said "learn and use only LISP", but that would've been exhibiting a death wish on my part. )

Crusty? Check. Old? Check. Dinosaur? Hey, wait a minute.... I don't got no tendency to battle, and then eat, other creatures. Okay then ... Crust old fart? Crusty old curmudgeon? Or maybe more accurately ... Don Quixote. Instead of tilting at windmills, lamenting the demise of the Karma system for the Like system which is clearly better in almost every conceivable way, have you even considered giving Jaga his due (which you clearly stated he deserves for both his post and his contribution to the community)? As of this writing, I don't see your name on the list of people who have liked his OP. Are you seriously going to let your fetish for Karma dissuade you from taking the appropriate action? Get off your duff and click it. You know you wanna.

I haven't spoken with him in several years now, but during his departure, he said that his business was needing attention, and he had a family to feed, etc. I had always presumed that he'd be back, but so far......
