Hello!
I'd like to get recommendations on removing pickup rusty polepieces.
I want to know the best solution which will not damage / demagnetize the pickup in any way.
Thank you!

Hi Pablo, I assume this request is about single coil slugs? Before you attempt the heart palpitating, 💔 nerve wracking process of attempting to remove pole pieces, have you considered attempting to clean the rust off the pole pieces? If not, and if it’s your aim to remove the rust, a really great way to get rid of rust on a pickup pole is to use a top quality art eraser. You can find them at a craft store (Hobby Lobby, Michaels, JoAnne’s). I find Sumo Grip erasers to be superior for removing rust off of pole pieces. With just a little bit of erasing, the rust will disappear!!

Hello, About 'Rusty', the Best is to use a Brush for Candles Motor: = You can easy Brush the Rods, + Then you have to preserv them with a Bomb of Vernish.. - & to measure the Magnetic Field, > + Charge your Rods with 2 Neodymium Magnets.. (for Measuring: there's an Free Appli for Smartphone, & for Neodymium magnets: you can find to sell on Web. > I got all.. winding thince 8y..) - Good Luck. - Bye, Ziggy (France, 12h42)
