Just happen to perform Quieting the Beast.. but there is a problem.... When the switch is in position 1, 3 anf 5 meaning single pickups only.. the hum is loud but not the hum that is high pitched... HHHHUUUUUUMMMMM.. just like that. but when in between position 2 and 4.. no problem about that its so quiet! Could someone help me please..... thanks!!!!

this is a normal occurance with any 3 single coil guitar. the middle pickup is often "reverse wound and reverse polarity" so that when it is selected in combination with another pickup(neck or bridge) is serves as hum canceling. however when it is just one coil at a time, ther is nothing to offset it so the hum is all there.
the QTB mod will only help to reduce your hum, not eliminate it. hopefully you hear less hum in those positions now but how much less depends on your pickups, environment and other things.
if the amount of noise has gone up, then there may be a problem and you should check that out.

Thanks for the help dude.... My friend and I ordered that GFS Alnico Vintage Premium Stagger His squire loaded with GFS(plain grounding) is quieter than my Strat(QTB)... but mine is quieter when in position 2 and 4... just can't find that line where the hum is produce... any suggestion? any part that i would disconnect from the ground? Thanks a lot man!!!
