According to the link, we were the most recent, and they feature one per week, so I'm assuming it has only been this week we were "featured". While ProBoards does the selecting, someone had to nominate us either on Facebook or Twitter. I give both those entities a wide berth, haven't logged into Facebook in years, and not active on Twitter either, so it wasn't me who nominated us- wondering who it might have been. According to the info from ProBoards, it doesn't have anything to do with membership, content, etc.- they just pick one per week from the nominees. So, darrenvox, you can nominate your forum and see whether you get picked or not. |

congrats guys, wish my forum was there too!! Well, you can request inclusion, as per their instructions: I have no idea how tough the competition is for inclusion. Nor, indeed, if it helps much. I note that the last post to one of the 'featured' forums was 3.5 years ago: xmenagerie.proboards.com/threads/recentAnother 'featured' (and inactive) board: trongridlines.boards.net/Maybe they both are trying a relaunch, but it does not appear so. My guess is that if you apply, you get on the list easily enough. |

Sometime during July of 2019. I don't recall the exact date. I had been posting a link to GN2 on the ProBoards' facebook wall one a week for about a year. Has there been an uptick in membership? I haven't been tracking that closely. I have noticed a steady increase in pageviews over the years but we might attribute some of that to the addition of resources like the PhosteniX-Files, etc. For what it's worth, the pageviews for August 2021 were off the charts: 389,323 |

For what it's worth, the pageviews for August 2021 were off the charts: 389,323 Yes, and that is odd, historically July/August are the slowest months (in terms of postings, anyway), which I always attributed to most members being in the Northern Hemisphere, with summer vacations and more outdoor activities then. |

Well howzatt? As of just now, GN2 was still first featured Proboards forum when I logged on using a browser! We are sitting, now, in the end of September. So, obviously, there’s an instant surge of browsing as people have returned from vacation. 🙂 —- Congratulations guitar nuts! 😀 |
