The subject line is not a myth, there really was a song by that name, way back in the mid 60's. This morning I "glanced" at The Links Page, as maintained by UnklMickey. It's getting rather large, don't you think? It occurs to me that Unk might not be adverse to a bit of help in keeping that list up to date. In that vein, I'm asking for volunteers to help comb through it, and weed out any dead links. I ask this not only because it's nice to know that we aren't harboring outdated or non-working information, but also because when things like this happen in a community, it's all but a sure bet that many new links will be dropped into the list by members who realize that they've got something to contribute. For this first effort, there are no rules, but I do have a few requests: 1) Please, just verify that the link works, and that it goes to a page that is relevant to the topic heading; 2) No one is being assigned to any given section, it's a free for all. So, please post here that you are about to cover such-and-such a section, so others won't duplicate your efforts. 3) If you do spot a dead link, report it here so that Unk can massage the list accordingly. Of course, volunteering your new links for the list can also be done here, or in the List Page thread, Unk will spot your contribution no matter where you put it. No one is expected to cover even a significant portion of the 150 or so links, that'd take two men and a small boy all day just to contemplate the job. Just do what feels right to you, and share your results with us here, please. Thanks! ;D sumgai

Thanks Chief, I re-formatted the first section to condense it. It's going to be a big project to do that for all the entries, so all help is welcome. I recommend taking bite sized chunks, and of course declaring the part your working on so there is no duplication of effort makes sense.
Thanks in advance, to anyone willing to grab a hammer and start nailing this thing down.

A couple of other suggestions to consider:
1. Indicate the date the link was confirmed or updated (or purged, if documenting that)
2. Indicate who performed the quality assurance.

Rune, Seems to me that your way (above) works well enough! Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I started this thing. I'm confident that Unk won't have any problems with what you've submitted. Thanks! sumgai

Andywelsh- Cool link, I added it to the revised links page under pickguards. Although they also have LEDs and Lasers ( ) for guitars as well. Our UK members (unfortunately) have gotten short shrift on the links page, as have the AU, NZ, etc members. Ok, basically the rest of the world has gotten short shrift! So if you have good local links, PM me and I'll add them to the list.
