Here's some reference pics from a previous help thread. The 4P6T guitar parts industry rotary switch: The terminals: Note that the top wafer is comprised of two poles and their respective switch terminals (red group and blue group). The bottom wafer has the same pinout. (The inner terminals marked "a" and "b" per group were part of a philosophical'ish discussion related to how the switch maker could reuse the wafer for other configurations [1P12T, 3P4T, as well as 2P6T here] by populating different center terminal structures. They are not actual terminals, but are clipped short for center structure mounting purposes. Please ignore them for this reference.)
