Hello everyone. I was wondering how I would wire 3 Humbucker's and eliminate the blade switch completely! I have a 1 volume / 1 tone pot. 3 SD wiring style HB's. 2 Full size and the middle position is a Strat style blade HB. The reason I want to do this is the body of the guitar is seriously "THIN" and has problems housing the blade switch. Basically where ever this guitar was built the tech just stuffed everything in the cavity even thought the stuff was to big! I bought this guitar on Ebay a while back (New). It had this horrible humming, and was not grounded anywhere. To say the least....it was taken apart to explore where this noise was coming from & now is in pieces. I ended up buying 2 500k p/p pots and some caps, treble bleed kit. I just want to rewire this thing where it can be coil split without any blade switch at all. I am going to fill the switch rout. (Unless someone can point me to a blade to toggle conversion plate). Any previous drawings out there? Or anything I can piece together? I would like to just have 3 toggles if possible and just 2 regular 500k pots. ( I have surplus of all of this stuff laying around)
Update:
Tossed the body in the trash! Humbucker neck routing was cut wrong at the factory. Me (0) Loss - Ebay Guitar (1) Win
