I have a feeling these switches will be quite popular around here. Though, they might remove some of the fun of devising creative new wiring schemes!

Unless these are updated versions, the free-way switch has been around for a bit, debriefed in the thread linked below.
Anyone familiar with the Free-way switch?
As some state it can help provide a more spartan look. Undoubtedly, some will still have the preference to have options (series/parallel) (phase in/out) on separate switches providing flexibility. Remember, quantity not quality.

I believe just the opposite, although you've linked quite a few wiring diagrams, I bet a lot of options are still undiscovered and some nutz will have fun devising new schemes. And what about someone going Nutz and putting two of these switches in, dare I say it...one guitar?

No, the new version is quite different. I am aware of the original Free-way switch. Although interesting, it was somewhat limited in its usefulness. There is a step-change in the usefulness with the new switch; it is far more versatile. The last link explains (some/all?) of the possible uses of the switch (selecting different solder pads to configure how the switch will operate). There is, apparently, more than one version of the switch too.

Looks like my Future Tele switch.

I do like gibson style toggles myself...here's one in my tele...



By using a toggle, slightly angled in mine, I was able to get two push pull pots, another tone pot and 4pdt switch and a battery into the tiny tele control cavity...oh, and a kill switch...

You can get blank tele plates too...

The 3x3-04 switch is mentioned at the freewayswitch.com website, as is the 3x3-05 version of the switch, but only 3x3-03 is properly documented and apparently for sale (I'd like to know more about the 3x3-05 switch). It seems clear that the 3x3-05 version is capable of far more than the 3x3-03 version.

Is the 3x3-03 or 3x3-04 version functionally identical to the original Free-Way switch?

Oddly, even though the site and products are very new, the 'customworks' site linked (on the page linked above) has already been dropped or parked and consists of nothing but advertising links. I don't understand how something like this switch can be developed (at great expense, no doubt) and then be so poorly promoted/documented/supported. On the face of it, they would appear to be a good (or at least, an interesting) set of products.
