Figure 1 Figure 2 Hello All, I am trying to sort out a slight discrepancy in these 2 diagrams. I guess I am looking for an explanation of the how the differences will affect my tone, and which one I should go with. If you look at figure 1 you'll see the .22 tone cap on the bridge pot is connected to the outside left terminal and grounded to the pot. In figure 2 the cap is connected to the center terminal and grounded out to the star. I'm not concerned with the ground, but would like to know how the terminal end might affect my tone control. Any ideas? ~jlokes

It's both the same isn't it? Right terminal thru cap to mid terminal and ground would have the same effect as mid terminal thru cap to left terminal and ground, if you think about the pot sweep thru the resistance track when you turn the knob.
