I bought an unusual squier tele with a humbucker bridge, and a single coil neck position. It needed some work and I got it for next to nothing.
It has 1 hum (bridge) and 1 single (neck) two knobs, and 1 three way? selector.
The jack was disconnected. I can't tell if the set up is two volume pots, and a two way selector, or 1 volume, 1 tone and a two way or three way selector.
The pots are both 500 k.
Could someone lead me down the right path?

BobbyC-
Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!
Std. issue Tele would be one Vol, one tone and a 3-way selector switch. The HB was likely wired just like a SC. Does the HB have 4 wires?
If that's what you want, any stock Tele wiring diagram ought to do. The basic question is: What do you want it to do? Stock Tele or something else?
You can easily ascertain how many positions the switch has.
We can certainly help with a wiring diagram, if you want something other than the regular Tele set-up.

I'll take a look at it tonight and see what the H.B. has for wiring. Thanks for your reply.

While you're in there, look for capacitors and note their positions. And/or take some pics and post them.

If its a 4-wire HB, one of the coils of the HB out of phase with the Single coil could be intresting...

Hi, The Humbucker has two wires, and there is a green capacitor on the tone pot middle tab and grounded to the back.
It does look like someone was messing around because the tone pot shaft is bent and the jack mount is not the right kind. It falls right through the hole and it's gold. The bridge and tuners are chrome and the plate for the electronics is chrome.
