Well, which is it? One tone or two? If you want two volumes, JohnH's "Strat with 2 volumes" scheme is the ticket. You will need a dual-gang pot for the master tone control, however. If you want 2 tones, that's standard Start wiring. You can just use any number of Strat diagrams, including Fender's. If you want to split the HB coils, then the question is, do you want a separate switch to split one HB coil? Or, do you want to do it as Fender does with their HSS Strats, using the 5-way to split the bridge HB at position 2 (i.e., Middle + Bridge SC). You can do the latter off of the 5-way switch, no new parts needed. But you only get the bridge coil split with the middle pickup, not by itself.

Well , both I have 2-3 guitars that fit this description and want to have a few demos for future sessions
I've been studying the drawings over at the schematic section and got confused There seems to be some DPDT switches there that throw me off ( I think ) And all the pickups I have have 4 conductore Two are single coil size noiseless and a standard 59 humbucker All have 4 conductors
I have 3 - 500k pots coming, and a gang tone you ( or someone ) recommended
WHen I finally get the time and space to do this, I'd like to have a couple of drawings to follow so I can get them both done relatively quickly in one sitting. Then play both and see which one we like better
THanks

Here's a link to the stock Strat VTT wiring. I linked above to JohnH's two-volume Strat. www.guitarnuts2.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=stock&action=display&thread=6268If you want to do the HB coil-split off of the 5-way, use one of Fender HSS diagram. Except for coil-splitting the bridge, your other HBs are to be wired in series fashion, so the two wires coming out of those will correspond to the two wires from the SC pickups in the Strat diagrams.
