What size ring terminals does everyone recommend to go over pots (for the Shielding The Beast mod)? I was checking out Mouser and they sometimes list a stud size or wire size and not a measurement. Just wondering what works for everyone else. thanks

I haven't gotten to that point yet, but I'm glad you brought it up. I just spent some "quality time" with my "Screw Chek'r" gauge. A #10 screw is about .190" diameter, or a little more than 3/16". The 500K push/pull pot I just measured was a "slip fit" into the 5/16" hole on the Screw Chek'r. Dunno if there's enough "meat" on the ring to drill it out another 1/8", or if we need to track down something a little larger than what Mouser offers. Wire size is probably moot, since the wiring inside a guitar is most likely too small to be crimped inside that part of the terminal, especially one with that big a ring. Probably better off to just squash it flat with the pliers, and solder the wires onto the nice flat surface. This question may have saved me some time in stocking up on the right supplies.
Radio Shack sells a little "sucker's" pack of assorted ring terminals. There's 2 of them in there that are a little big but worked fine for me. I didn't worry about the holes being slightly oversize 'cause the pot body holds them tight against the pickguard. I cut the plastic tips off the end with a razor blade & used a real crimping tool on them - that teeny cap leg was sure lonely in there - but it held it real nice for soldering.
