Hmmm. That's not at all intuitive. If I click a button called 'Upload File', I expect that functionality. There being no instructions supplied at the time is a problem. Of course I do not blame you, and neither do I have a good suggestion for a fix.
One thought: Is it possible to engineer a second function (in addition to Cloudinary File Upload) from the 'File Upload' button to generate a popup with instructions? If my memory serves me correctly, it is possible to change functionality of most ProBoard buttons.

Hi Guys, In a rare bit of housekeeping, I found these squirreled away on an USB connected 2Tb disk drive attached to my PC. I quickly scanned through the thread and they don't appear to show up therein. They are posted in the interests of collating whatever from wherever. I have edited this post to remove the first five images since I now believe that they came from another website, the name of which escapes me. As usual, the permanence of these images are dependent upon the vagaries of the hosting facility, fixed disk reliability and ultimately- mortality... e&oe...

This is a wiring diagram fir thd original 'Tonemonster' scheme by JA, which used three 3pdt on-off-on's and a dpdt to select the series or parallel selecions. Found on the UA forum, but i don't think the drawing is by JA Its caught by the PB watermark, but its still clear enough and I'll try to edit it out.

lindenburg-
Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!
As you can see from this thread, we've been slowly resurrecting what we could of the original Guitarnuts site, but we didn't have the complete works. So good on you for preserving and reposting the original site!

Hi Lindenburg
Welcome, and very many thanks for this. You have given us back a huge resource that we thought had been lost. Your version looks to be a perfect recreation.

I very much second this -- a tremendous thank-you, both for sharing it with us and for your initial foresight to save a copy. Your version looks to be a perfect recreation. Sadly maybe not quite perfect, going through all the links, there is a number of missing files -- mostly soundclips, which I'm not overly concerned about -- but unfortunately it also includes some diagrams and some entire pages. Here's the list of missing files that I can ascertain so far (the missing pages may have also included further missing content): /amps/bh5h/banner_shot.jpg /amps/bh5h/mods1.jpg /amps/bh5h/stby1.png /amps/bh5h/stby2.png /amps/bh5h/stby3.png /amps/bh5h/stby4.png /amps/g40v/interior.jpg /amps/g40v/r17.jpg

/reviews/ad60vtx.pdf /reviews/donbellcustom.png /reviews/rareearthhbdn.mp3 /technical/electrical/safety/jeff.html /technical/electrical/trouble/genericnoise.html /technical/electrical/trouble/strat.html /wiring/doublebarrel/extra.jpg /wiring/jeffcitespredator.pdf /wiring/mikerichardson/mr3.gif /wiring/shielding/frankspics/index.html /wiring/shielding/marcusmillersignaturebass.pdf /wiring/shielding/shieldingryandbyrd.ppt /wiring/shielding/supplies.pdf /wiring/shielding/wrappingcoils.html /wiring/stastic/cavity.png /wiring/switches.html
Two of which I've struck-through because (now knowing what to search for) I've found via google: - /amps/nickelblues/guitarnutsdotcomnickelbluesschematic.pdf -- as an attachment on an el34world forum post
- /reviews/ad60vtx.pdf -- on pdfhall
lindenburg, if these files truly are missing from your backup, perhaps you'd like to update it to include these two. Also, whilst not the original I've found this schematic on CircuiltLab which is at least somewhat based on /wiring/jeffcitespredator.pdf Finally on the some of the individual amp pages (see below), the "Amplifiers" link in the navigation menu links to the nonexistent "../amps/index.html", I presume it should instead link to "../../amps/index.html" in a style similar to the adjacent links. Though I suspect this isn't of your doing, and is actually a mistake copied over from original site. The pages that exhibit this issue: /amps/bh5h/index.html /amps/bloozbaby/index.html /amps/fatpenny/index.html /amps/fxloop/index.html /amps/g40v/index.html /amps/nickelblues/index.html /amps/nitro/index.html /amps/vc508/index.html /amps/wattcontrol/index.html

lindenburg- Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!As you can see from this thread, we've been slowly resurrecting what we could of the original Guitarnuts site, but we didn't have the complete works. So good on you for preserving and reposting the original site! I am SO glad you did this (& I am so glad that I found it). I'd sent a note to Mr. Atchley about my MIM strat that I modded using the 'Quieting the Beast' and was so surprised to see that it made it's way to your resurrected site. I am in the process of getting a MJT strat and will apply these same techniques to that guitar as well. Thank you.
