Boys and Girls,
So it had to happen again. A few of you knew before now that the missus and I are moving yet again, after only two years in this (financial) prison we thought would be the last. Sigh. Like they say, "Man plans, Gawd laughs.".
We're pulling the plug as of this evening (7/31/17), and it will be a few weeks before we can move into our new place and get hooked back up. As usual, I'll try to get to a free wi-fi spot on occasion, but there ain't no guarantee of that happening on a regular basis. Without further ado, newey will be your Administrator this evening, with all the help he can inveigle from the usual staff.
As to the potential of moving to a new home on the web, to avoid further erosion of our image displays, I leave that in newey's hands too. I think the behind-the-scenes BS planning sessions may come up with a reasonable plan soon, but I'll only be a peripheral part discussion of that for the next few weeks, if at all.
If all goes well, and we don't expect any hiccups, then we should be moved into our new home on or about the 20th of August. It's only about 15 miles east of our current place, so it'll be business as usual, but with vastly lower taxes, insurance rates, utility bills, etc. A very big plus is that we can now park the RV on the property, instead of having to store it 10 miles away - that's another monthly expense we no longer have to pony up.
For those interested, look up Gold Bar, WA. At the east end of town you'll find Pickle Farm Road - we're about a mile up that road. (Away from the train tracks!!!!)

Me, OTOH, I can't do that stuff - it lowers the blood pressure something fierce, and I'm in enough trouble as it is, trying to keep the ol' ticker kickin' along steady-like.
Yeah, pretty much. But you knew (or maybe not...), I'm pretty much a 2-meter kind of guy. Besides, there's already a bit of a brou-ha-ha brewing over just how big her garden is gonna be.... Time will tell. (Famous last words!)

Well, I'm not back officially, I'm only staying for a few nights at a friend's place, and stealing bandwidth while I'm at it. 
The new place has closed*, but we're gonna start in tomorrow on painting for colors besides "awful white". Saturday we have a few family members promising to show up and help move the big stuff that I'm too weak to handle myownself.... we'll see how that works out. (You do know that help with hard work is always available in the past tense, don't you?)
When we finally do get settled, it may be some time before we can get Internet installed and running with no problems. I may still show up here only part time, should that be the case... I'll keep you all up to date on that score.

UPDATE:
It's now Monday evening, and the move went well, this past Saturday.
Now we're waiting for Comcrap to get off their lard butts and get us our internet. Currently on a neighbor's wi-fi, don't want to abuse it, so I'll keep this visit short.

And I'm back, online and full-time!! Only 6 1/2 weeks without my daily fix! 
Comcrapst stepped up to the plate and hooked us up, we went live this morning sometime whilst I was sleeping the sleep of the dead (from all that moving, doncha know). Should be good to go from now on.

OK, OK, I'm at it again.....
The wife says to me yesterday "Remember, tomorrow we're going to Belfair state park". Oh crap, how could I forget that one.
Sooooo... for the next 5 days I'll be incommunicado, as no Washington State Park has anything resembling wi-fi, or any other networking outlet/resource. Fortunately, experience tells me that it's not very likely that this place will burn down whilst I'm OOF, so all I need remind you of is, newey has his hands full IRL, so please be kind to him.
Right now it's OhDarkThirty, and in something less than an hour, we'll be hitting the road. I'll be back late Friday evening, Lowered willing and the wife don't find out.  (Well, she'll know despite that last bit, but you know the old saying.)
