hey Bluebeetle, i did a little more research for you on that switch: here's how Gibson is using it on the Ace Frehley LP: so it can get you -- A , A + B , C -- for your choices. don't know if that is anything you want, but thought you might like to know. unk

SP3T mini toggle switches are really very similar to DPDT in that they have 6 terminals (2X3).
They switch like this:
1<--2---3 4<--5---6
1<--2---3 4---5-->6
1---2-->3 4---5-->6
If 6 is wired to 2, you get SP3T
5->4 5->6->1 5->6->3
They usually have silver cadmium contacts and normally should have about a 100mA wetting current, but they usually work OK in guitars (although not guaranteed w/ such low level/current signals). I prefer the gold flashed contacts, but they're much harder to find (I have to go the OEM route). Or, Heh, Heh, Heh, free samples.....
I think that the SP3T mini toggle can be had with the 3/8 bushing also.
If you want a variety (more than 3) of combos, the rotary is the way to go. If you want to fool with the mini toggle, one CAN get a DP3T (12 terminals).
