Years ago, a bunch of us long-time Nutz were busily harassing electrons and posting our opinions about X, Y and Z. Someone called us out one day, opining that we were delivering opinions as if they were judgments. That got kicked around for a bit, and then, somewhere along the line, age came into play. This led c1 to postulate: Which has gone on to become one of my signatures, through which I rotate at random times. But I digress..... So if I remember correctly, the "magic" age whereupon one was "authorized" to judge was 50. I'm sure someone will correct me if I've gotten that number wrong. But lately, I've been wondering... what happens when you become so old that your judgments are.... suspicious? Well, I need wonder no longer. I have determined through personal experience that upon reaching the age of 75, one no longer has to judge. He, or she, might be eminently qualified and capable, but the desire is no longer there. It's a liberating moment when you realize that you just don't give a rip that nobody else gives a rip whether you render a judgment.... you're free to not judge! I'm free!!!! Of course, anything I say (print) after this is automatically suspicious, but all of us already knew that, didn't we. sumgai

Or, as some would say: "Don't judge me, bro!" I'm Medicare-eligible the first of next month, so I'm still well within judgment parameters . . .

Judging is only an issue in the event of a conviction or financial judgement. Everything else is just b|tching it forward.
