This is a slightly updated version of a Phostenix wiring diagram. There are two versions, one using a four pole Fender S1 switch, and one using just a DPDT. The pickup selections for both versions are identical, but the switch position is reversed so you get the parallel selections in the 'default' switch position. S-1 Up / DPDT Down (Nashville Tele Mode)
1. Bridge 2. Middle & Bridge (Parallel) 3. Neck & Bridge (Parallel) 4. Neck & Middle (Parallel) 5. Neck
S-1 Down / DPDT Up (Fat Nash Mode):
1. Bridge 2. Middle & Bridge in Series 3. Neck & Bridge in Series 4. Neck & Middle in Series 5. Neck

Matt, thanks for posting this! I tried it with a humbucker in the neck and a second S1 switch that coil splits the humbucker, and every position works except in position 3 when the coil split is engaged and the series switch is engaged - I end up losing the bridge pickup in this configuration. When I disengage the coil split, the bridge comes back in. So position 3 works in parallel for the full humbucker and coil split switch engaged, but when its in series only the full humbucker setting works.
I'm using a Duncan Jazz in the neck and am using the coil split to take the slug side in and out, so I have the red wire from the Duncan jazz pickup following the neck hot part of the diagram, the white and bare wires following the ground part of the diagram, and the green and black wired to the common of the second S1 switch.
Any chance I wired it wrong, or is this an expected outcome when incorporating a coil split and humbucker?

Is the other lug of the second S1 switch connected to ground? That would explain why the bridge pickup gets shorted out in series mode.
With the green and black wires going to the common, the other connection on the S1 switch should be a link to the white wire.
Also, joining the white (signal) and bare (shield) wires together might result in more noise in series mode. It would be better to connect the bare wire directly to ground.

Leave the white wire where it is. Move the bare wire to a point connected directly to ground. Remove the ground wire from the coil-split S1. Add a link from the white wire to the coil-split S1. The pink line represents the white wire. The grey line is the bare wire.

I’m working on a similar pickup configuration at the moment except I’m using a dmarzio DP240 mini humbucker with split coil in the neck. Trying to figure out how to wire it up has been wrecking my brain. Just like OP, I want to use the coil split, but I want the following pickup combinations
N N+M M M+B B N+B
Anyone here know how I go about wiring this up? I am fine with having a toggle switch for each individual pickup if it’s needed but if this is achievable with a blade switch that would be fine aswell. Thanks

deathfingerz- You'll probably need MattB to get back to you on this one. But you have 6 combinations listed for what started out as a 5-way switch. Do you plan on using a 6-position lever switch (these do exist) to get the extra N + B position? If you're using a regular 5-position switch, the easiest way to get the N + B combo is to add a "neck on" switch, which could be a simple toggle switch or could be on a push/pull switch on one of the pots. This turns the neck pickup "on" regardless of the position of the 5-way switch, so that, with the 5-way set to the B position, you get the N + B with the switch flipped. You also get N + M + B at the second position with the "neck on" activated. I'm unclear on this. Neither of MattB's diagrams above have any coil splitting going on. The mod is to give series/parallel options. Both versions require a Superswitch, plus either an S-1 or a separate DPDT.
