I saw the inside of some high end bass guitars which use circuit boards for tone and output circuits, and got to thinking..
Did you ever think of printing up some circuit boards to handle some standard tasks in the guitar in a "best practices" mindset sort of like the QTB mod and JohnH's fet buffer circuit...
1) jfet preamp / buffer / overdrive / balanced direct out.. 2) active parametric eq.. 3) electronic matrix switching of pickups serial parallel phase to handle any of the guitarnuts members cool ideas for pickup switching..!! 4) any other cool thing that could be easier to buy premade than make from scratch !
Seriously I think some mass manufacturers (fender, cough, gibson, cough, behringer, ibanez, etc!!..) should license these ideas from you guys and build them for mainstream modding of guitars or incluision in their standard equipment line..
