While looking for a brass nut to fix the buzzzzzzzzz on my sons bass I came across this (Earvana compensated nut ) anyone try this Also need a source for brass nut for fender squire bass. Thanks

mon, Ditto dunklefalke's observation. Earvana and Buzz Feiten's system of offsettting the nut just exacerbates the problem. This despite the "rave" endorsements from big name players. But when push comes to shove, if you look at what they drag on stage every night, there are no 'special' nuts to be found on any guitars (or basses) anywhere near that stage. Telling story, that. Thanks guys I am not a expert but being laid up for health problems been doing a ton of reading on luthier stuff and never ever heard on a compensated nut even in the old days
