Hey,
Great site! I'm still lost, but I think I learned a lot ;D.
I like P-90's and Mini-humbuckers, so I was thinking I'd just combine the two and have one of each. I don't know which one would go bridge and which neck though.
How do you think that would work out (and sound)?
Thanks, CMA

Many guitars have Humbuckers at the bridge and Single coils at the neck. Many of Matt Bellamy's (guitarist for Muse) guitars have a humbucker sized P-90 (similar to the Dream90 from GFS and the Covered Bastard or Surfmaster from Rio Grande, I think he has a surfmaster) and a humbucker in the bridge. There are some advantages this way, If you dont like your P-90... replace it with a humbucker. But if you want a true P-90/Mini setup then Seymour Duncan is the way to go. Dimarzio has a small selection of minibuckers (two to be exact) and Rio Grande only has one minibucker. Seymour Duncan has a fairly large selection of both. Of course you can go straight to the mack daddy of both and buy some Gibson's. Here's one of Matt Bellamy's Manson Guitars. See the humbucker sized P90 in the neck position. Obviously if you have a cool sounding bridge p90 and a mini for the neck then go that route. Pickups can go anywhere so long as they fit your sound.
