I'm not trying to get everyone to switch to myspace, I have just started using it as my on line guitar room and was wondering if anyone else is using if for that so people can just drop by and take a look around.

Let me preface this by saying, you have a pretty nice page (though I could do without the tye-dye myself). You've obviously taken some time to lay it out (above and beyond the standard MySpace bot layout). The content is wholesome.
A few members here have myspace pages, if you're into that kind of thing....it's o.k. But compared to other free pages that are out there, MySpace is rather clunky and usually very hard on the eyes on those of us over a certain age (of which you are). It also usually loads painfully slow (though yours wasn't too bad), and is crawling with weirdos looking to hook up with underage kids. For free I can see living with all the shortcomings except the last one. We know several kids that have had to get the authorities involved from some fairly aggressive MySpace stalkers. On the one hand, it is where every teenager and college student has their pages (which accounts for its slowness), but the negative press and lurking dangers cause me to steer most folks elsewhere when looking for a free website. IMO, Blogger, Bloglines, or (just) recently even Yahoo pages are a better (and safer) way to go.

I'm in the college student bracket. Generally in the 5 minutes before class is starting, everybody is talking about myspace or facebook. Those sites are really really popular!
It's kind of funny, at least 2 gals at my college have asked "what's your myspace name" when I'm in that "layin down the moves phase." In high-school it was like: yeah let's go hang out and get to know each other.
Now, people like me feel like a guy showing up to ask for a job with no resume or application filled out. You just get the "yeah maybe we'll call you."
I think it's time to write a song about a guy who can't get this chick cause he had to sell his computer for strings, now he's stuck home with his git-fiddle.
That's alright, I still got my guitar! Look out now!

My page is the result of abou 20 minutes work and I have a Yahoo page too. I love messing with these different sites and learning how to navigate through them quickly. At work, it seems they are always giving us something new to work with and doing stuff like that actually helps me stay familiar naviagtion techniques. May seem a little weird but I can actually figure out new software applications pretty quick with very little instruction.
I don't surf Myspace, it's just a place to have my stuff, if you notice I don't have any friends listed and don't send out messages to people asking them to be my MySpace buddy. The Tie-dye page was one that allows you read and see everything on the page without going blind and I dig the scrolling pictures and video listings too.

Hi Mike, LOL, kind of odd the ad at the top of your page is saying, "Find the best <zooming style='in and out'>Model</zooming> sites here!
Anyway, sadly I don't have the latest flash version installed so I'm perhaps missing some of the features of your site.
Since I am in Spain, myspace, unfortunately, fed me all the site stuff in Spanish. Not a problem, since I'm reasonably fluent after 18 years here. But English seems more fitting.
The eye wobble thing may be down to having a fixed background. It tends to upset smoothness of scrolling.
I'm also on a dial up connection, so, although it didn't take a monster time to download and show the scrolling pics, it may have been easier if they were standard thumbs.
I use my own sites to put my stuff up, so I have no need of the myspace genre of sites.
