I have two Strat replacement bodies that I may be convinced to part with. The first is an unfinished book matched flame walnut on walnut hollow (chambered) rear routed Strat body routed for a Wilkinson vibrato and three side-by-side humbucker pickups. I have several new humbuckers that could be part of a package deal. These include the DiMarzio Tone Zone, Steve's Special, PAF Pro, Air Norton, and a Multibucker (out of production, a FS1 and a Chopper single coil humbucker integrated into one pickup - 4 blades). This body was $229 when I bought a few years ago (They're a wee bit more now.) Although I haven't weighed it, it's fairly lightweight, under 4# (I can weigh it if desired). The second is an unfinished 3# 9oz book matched koa on 2 piece koa hollow (chambered) top routed Strat body routed for a Vintage 6 screw vibrato and a side-by-side humbucker and two single coil pickups. I had originally planned on using this in the KoaCaster, but the wenge 1 3/4" fatback neck was too heavy for this body. Body is shown "wet" for grain detail. This body was $249 when bought a few months ago. (They're a lot more now.) Both of these will be shipped in the shipping boxes that they came in. Please PM with inquires. Rude comments can be posted.

Chris, It's a 2000 MIM, and it's not seen as good a care as it deserved. I bought it because it sounded extremely good, and plays like a dream. I'll probably be taking it apart to do a QtB job on it next week, and I'm considering sanding down the finish and starting over - there're just too many "ow-ies" to patch up cleanly. (I have an outdoor shed I use for a spray booth, and it's still fairly much "summer" here, so.......) Yes, I could probably get a part number, but on the other hand, I paid about the same for this as you did for any one of those bodies - give or take 250 clams. Not to mention, then I'd be bassless in Seattle, and that's not a good thing! You called my bluff, I'll shut up now....... ;D (But I'm still in lust!) sumgai

It ain't never "much summer" there. And that's just the way we want the rest of you to think of it as, Seattle summers aren't really all that hot, and don't last all that long. Just don't read anything that upsets that purview of Seattle, and no one gets hurt. ;D sumgai

Probably, since I only posted "allusions" thereto. This would likely be a valid one. Shipping would be whatever it is.
