Hello everybody. After months of lurking and asking questions, I have finally come up with a wiring diagram (kindly proofread by JohnH). Unfortunately I’m not sure how to put the image in the body of my message, so here’s a link: www.combat-tkd.com/circuit.pdf (excuse the rather rudimentary artwork). The idea was to use a superswitch to give two modes in a 3PU guitar in which positions 1 and 5 remain the same in both in order to keep it simple and intuitive for live work, but allowing what I consider the most useful series options in mode 2. Mode #1 1. neck 2. neck + middle 3. neck + bridge 4. bridge + middle 5. bridge Mode #2 1. neck 2. neck > bridge OoP 3. neck > bridge 4. bridge > middle 5. bridge Mode switching would be done by a 4PDT switch (anyone know a source of 4PDT push-pull pots?). Unless there is something to prevent it I would put two tone pots (neck and bridge) between the pickups and the superswitch. This is my first public attempt at coming up with a mod, and my electronic background is zero, so feel free to comment/correct. Cheers, Simes
